Every NEISD campus has a Registered Nurse (RN) ready to aide your student. Additionally, Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Clinic Assistants (CAs), supervised by the RN, are at designated campuses.
What We Do
School nurses are a primary resource in recognizing and managing children´s health problems. School nurses have the professional education and expertise to function successfully in the separate complete systems of education and health care. NEISD school nurses are committed to each child´s individual development and safety.

Immunization Requirements
State law requires students in Texas schools to be immunized against certain vaccine-preventable diseases. Getting your child vaccinated not only protects your child’s health, but also that of the community.
Screening Information
All new to NEISD 6th and 8th graders will be screened for vision and hearing; All 7th graders will be screened for vision, hearing and acanthosis nigricans; All 8th grade boys will be screened for scoliosis; All 7th grade girls will be screened for scoliosis.
My name is Jennifer Arbeiter and I am proud and happy to be the Registered Nurse for Bush Middle School. I have been a nurse since 2001 and joined NEISD in 2014. My goal as your School Nurse is to keep the students safe, healthy and educated with knowledge and awareness about their own health and wellness needs.
